Our team

Mr. Demetris Eliades studied Law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He founded the Firm in 1980. His main areas of practice are corporate law, contract law, banking law, accidents and personal injuries.

Mr. Eliades served as a Member of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Cyprus from 1985 to 2001. During his office he chaired the Parliamentary Committee on Environment and served on a number of other Committees, including the Law Committee. He was also member of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association from 1986 to 2001 and served as a member of its Executive Committee. He is, also, a member of the European Association of Legislation since 1990. Having served on the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Bank from 2005 he was appointed to the Ministerial Post in March 2010, where he served as Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment and then from July 2011 until March 2013 he served as Minister of Defense.

From March 2013 onwards Demetris Eliades resumed his duties as head of the Law Firm until the end of 2022 and as from 2023 he became a legal consultant.

George Kyriacou joined the firm in 2017 as an advocate in the Litigation Department.

He graduated the University of Bedfordshire in 2010, obtaining his LLB (Hons) and was called to the Bar the following year. He also holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM).

In 2016, George successfully passed the Cyprus Insolvency Service’s exams, being able ever since to practise as an Insolvency Practitioner in matters of Companies Liquidation procedures and Natural Persons’ bankruptcies. George is also appointed as a Prosecutor for the Technical Chambers of Cyprus and was a member of the Nicosia Bar Association Board from 2013 until 2019.

His practice focuses mainly on Banking, Corporate, Civil and Commercial Litigation matters, Recoveries, Insurance Law, Contract Law, Family Law, Banking and Tax Law.

Since January 2023 he has been appointed as the Managing Director of the firm.

Spyroula obtained her law degree in 2014 from Democritus University of Thrace. Having been successful at her Cyprus Bar Association exams, she was subsequently called to the Bar in 2015.

Spyroula became part of our team in 2019 as a Litigation Advocate.

Spyroula is currently involved in general litigation, in civil and commercial matters with her main area of expertise being Banking Law and Commercial Litigation.

Thanasis has joined the Firm in 2021 as an Advocate in the Litigation Department.

He studied law at the University of Thrace and thereafter was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2020.

His expertise spans a variety of banking and finance matters combined with experience in handling court cases for major banks and other financial institutions, and providing a wide range of legal services specialized in Civil, Criminal, Contract and Sports Law.

Argyro joined our team in 2021 as an Advocate in the Litigation Department.

Argyro obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the European University of Cyprus in 2018 and her LLM in European Commercial Law from University of Cyprus in 2022.

In 2019 she was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association as a qualified lawyer.

Argyro specializes in civil matters concerning Banking Law and Commercial Litigation as well as Intellectual Property Law, Trusts and Real Estate Law.

Diana has been employed with our firm since 2023 as a Senior Corporate Administrator.

Diana has been in corporate administration for over 10 years developing through commitment and continuous self-development.

She has extensive experience in administration matters, compliance, AML and corporate governance.

Diana speaks Greek , English, Russian and Armenian.

Maria-Stella has been with our firm since 2006.

She works as a Litigation Administrator organizing the Litigation Department and providing all the necessary assistance to the lawyers daily routines.

She is certified in computer use by Computer International, modules: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet.

Maria-Stella speaks Greek and English.

Andrie joined our firm in 2016 as an Accounting Manager.

She obtained a Book Keeping and Accounts diploma from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a Second level diploma in Single-Subject Accounting.

Andrie manages all accounting transactions, reviews and updates accounting processes and procedures needed, monitors and handles all banking transactions for the firm and its clients.

Eleni joined our team in 2022 as an Administrator.

She holds a diploma in Executive Secretarial Studies from the Global College Nicosia.

Eleni organizes, schedules and manages administration tasks.
